The Annex Bar, a space originally designed for private social gatherings, was dimly lit by warm lights that cast soft shadows on the metal walls. An elegantly dressed Silas sat in a corner of the room, watching the reflection of the amber liquid in her liquor glass dance under the dim lighting.
