Silas wants to set the record straight with his swinger neighbor.
Silas didn’t want to wait. Although she knew Danai wanted to accompany her, she feared a confrontation between her husband and the neighbor might escalate. So, taking a deep breath, she decided to handle it herself. Walking with determination to the neighbor’s door, she knocked firmly, but what she found left her completely disoriented.
The door opened, and instead of the neighbor, a young woman appeared. She was blonde, petite, and radiated a delicate beauty with a kind energy. The woman smiled at her, as if it wasn’t strange at all for Silas to be standing there.
“Hi,” the woman said, tilting her head slightly. “Can I help you with something?”
Silas froze for a moment, unsure how to react. Her original plan to confront the neighbor crumbled the instant she saw the woman. Quickly, she improvised.
“Hi… uh, I think I received a message that might have been sent here by mistake. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something important.”
